Nufarm announced recently that Jacob Richburg has joined its US team as a technical services manager. In this position, Richburg will deliver technical support, research design and agronomic insight to Nufarm customers. Nufarm, one of the world's largest crop protection manufacturers, has grown its technical team depth in recent months to support Nufarm's expanding portfolio of innovative crop protection solutions and provide customers with exceptional support.
Before joining Nufarm, Richburg was a graduate research assistant under Dr. Jason Norsworthy at the University of Arkansas where he helped manage more than 200 field trials and earned an M.S. degree in crop, soil and environmental science and weed science.
Richburg graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in plant, soil and environmental science from the West Texas A&M University. He also worked as a research assistant and lead field scout for Agri-Search. Richburg has extensive hands-on experience with pest and crop injury scouting and weed control programs in corn, sorghum, cotton, and soybeans.
