Bayer recently launched the fungicide Cripton Xpro in Chile. The new product stands out for its composition of three active ingredients - Bixafen, Prothioconazole and Trifloxystrobin - , which provide a synergistic effect that simultaneously attacks different parts of the fungus, making it an excellent tool to protect wheat and barley.

"Bayer is constantly researching and innovating, in order to improve its products and develop modern and sustainable solutions to face the challenges that farmers have every day. An example of this is the new Cripton Xpro, a cutting-edge fungicide that improves crop yields and uses technology to become more sustainable by reducing the number of applications, thanks to the localized effect of its various components," said Roberto Martí , Development Manager of the agricultural division of Bayer.

For his part, Marcos Taladriz, agricultural entrepreneur and one of the attendees, stressed the importance Bayer plays in the development of the field in the country. "The Bayer team has always made a tremendous contribution to the agricultural business of the region and the country. I find the product very interesting, and the tests shown speak for themselves. It is what technology has in its leading the vanguard, to move forward and improve efficiencies, because fungi do not fall asleep either, so we must be attentive to move to the forefront and have this at the disposal of the needs of the farmers".

The new fungicide also has anti-aging technology that allows the plant to stay green for longer, improving the yield per hectare, which helps express the full potential of the crop. Thanks to this unique feature, for example, farmers can increase their productivity.
