The world leader in soybean inoculants and inputs, the Argentine multinational Rizobacter, launched an adjuvant in Brazil that expands the action of pulverized agrochemicals. The new product, Rizospray Extremo, is a premium anti-evaporating oil and state-of-the-art surfactant with exclusive formulation that includes organosilicones and the modified vegetable oil (MSO).
According to Rizobacter, this combination produces a "synergy between its components, providing greater protection of the droplets against low ambient humidity, maximum cuticular penetration and the excellent spreading ability of drops on the target. It is especially recommended to strengthen the application of herbicides (including graminicides), insecticides and foliar fungicides".
Rizobacter also said that Rizospray Extremo can significantly reduce drift problems because it includes Silwet, an organosiliconated adjuvant that reduces the surface tension of applied liquids, allowing better absorption by the plant.
"In addition, its high efficiency lets you use up to five times less than standard oils. In this way, it is only necessary to add Rizospray Extremo in the application, which can be done by air or land, to enhance the action of agricultural pesticides, bringing agility and high efficiency,” said Argentine officials.
Matias Santipolo of Rizobacter Brazil said that the products currently available for control of foliar diseases in the Brazilian market, "are molecules of a very high efficiency, but have to be applied at the right time and place, so the application technology can explain up to 70% of the defensive's efficiency".
José Cricco, general manager of Rizobacter Brasil, noted that the product came on the market in 2011 in Argentina. Today, it is commercialized in Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and in several countries.
"The product was born in a 2010 US workshop at Momentive, with different weed, insecticide and fungicide specialists. The analysis was made using Silwet in its composition, and we realized that it would be possible to turn the standard oil into premium oil. This led to the Rizospray Extremo, which combines oil and Silwet technology. In this way, to facilitate the life of the producer, we already have in the same product all the necessary characteristics ", said Cricco.
According to Rizobacter, the product achieved "great results in more than 150 tests conducted by independent researchers." Research was also conducted by the MS Foundation, and by researcher Fernando Grigolli on soybean crops during the 2018 and 2019 harvest."
