Guangxin Corporation to complete its 4-chlorophenyl nitrate project by the year end

Guangxin Corporation is one of the largest producers of thiophanate-methyl in China, with a markets share as high as 97%, making it the leader of the Chinese thiophanate-methyl industry. The company is one of the few Chinese companies that has mastered the diuron synthesis technique, and has maintained its core business of producing pesticide-oriented phosgene applications. It is also promoting the use of phosgene in fine chemical intermediates. Since 2008, the company has successfully developed its methyl carbamate and sulfonyl isocyanate synthesis technique, and is a leading manufacturer of sulfonyl isocyanate in China.

The company’s 4-chlorophenyl nitrate phase 2 project is expected to be completed in 2019, driving its business growth. Phase 1 of the company’s production of 100,000 tons of 4-chlorophenyl nitrate began in 2018, generating Yuan 43.644 million of profit that year. Phase 2 of the project is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2019, which will further drive the company’s growth over the next two years. The company’s 3,000-ton pyraclostrobin project and 1,200-ton famoxadone project are 4.99% and 5.13% complete respectively, and income from these projects will be first registered in 2020.
