UPL AgroSolutions Canada announces the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has approved a label expansion for EVITO® Fungicide in the three crops. Oat, rye and triticale growers in Canada now have a new option for long-lasting and reliable disease control.

Already registered in wheat, barley, corn and soybeans, EVITO is a highly systemic strobilurin fungicide that provides excellent protection from disease infection through rapid uptake from roots and foliage. Superior leaf protection and xylem mobility means EVITO is effectively distributed throughout the plant for effective disease control. And with residual soil activity, rain or irrigation give EVITO a second boost for even longer-lasting protection.

“EVITO has earned a reputation as a trusted ally for reliable disease control on a variety of row crops,” says Trent McCrea, Portfolio Marketing Manager, UPL AgroSolutions Canada. “Research trials have consistently proven its effectiveness for disease control. We’re very pleased to announce that the new label expansion will add another valuable tool to the disease management portfolio for oat, rye and triticale crops.”

EVITO is highly efficacious against some of the most common diseases in oat, rye and triticale, such as powdery mildew, leaf rust, tan spot, stem rust and more. The fungicide’s highly concentrated formulation even allows growers to treat more acres with less product.

“Without effective control, disease in cereal crops can take a heavy toll on production,” says McCrea. “For growers looking for a better way to manage a wide variety of disease, EVITO is a welcomed addition to their toolbox.”
