Biosur launches bioinsecticide INSIDER for the control of whitefly

Chilean company Biosur launches INSIDER®, a new biological insecticide highly effective for the control of the whitefly, formulated with spores of the entomopathogenic fungus Verticillium lecanii, a microorganism that infects and kills whitefly at several growth stages.
INSIDER® is registered against whitefly in pepper and tomato crops. In addition, it is fully compatible with the auxiliary fauna and pollinators, since it is a highly selective product, which means that it only acts on some species, in this case the whitefly, being innocuous over the rest of insect species, animals, aquaculture fauna and the environment.
It is recommended two or three treatments followed by INSIDER® for maximum effectiveness, with 5 or 6 days between treatments, wetting the crop well.
INSIDER® does not leave any type of residues on the crop, having a safety period of 0 days, it is also certified for organic farming. Its application together with other insecticide products used for whitefly produces a highly synergistic effect and a very high efficiency.
It acts mainly on larval stages of whitefly, so it is interesting to mix it with an adulticide product, to cover all the life stages of the fly.
