Suli’s 10,000-ton pesticide formulation project to be put into operation this year

ChinaSuli’s product range includes chlorothalonil technical, azoxystrobin technical, pesticide formulation and other pesticide products. Those pesticide products include pesticide technical, such as diflubenzuron, fluazinam, flutolanil, cymoxanil and intermediates such as 4-chloro-pyridine-2-carbonitrile and tetrachloro-terephthalonitrile.
In 2018, Suli’s subsidiary Bailly Chemicals launched a 1,000-ton azoxystrobin technical project, which has been put into production.
The construction of the 15,000-ton 2,2',3,3',4,4',5,5',6,6'-decabromobibenzyl project and supporting facilities in the new location have begun. To make a more complete industry deployment, to plan for long-term business development and to optimize the business structure, the company has set up Suli (Ningxia) New Material Science and Technology Ltd at the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industrial Base, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, where chemicals will be produced in relation to pesticides, fire retardant, fertilizer and new materials. The new setup allows for utilization of the advantages in available resources in west China, optimization of product structures in the company, enhancement of the competitive edge and anti-risk capacities, thus becoming a new source of profitability for the company.
