Inari, a company advancing plant breeding by tapping natural genetic diversity, announced that Tom Halverson has joined as chief financial officer. Halverson, who brings decades of experience in finance and capital markets, will lead the company’s financial operations and investor relations.
Before joining Inari, Halverson served as a managing director and head of the Agriculture, Clean Technology & Renewables investment banking group at Piper Jaffray. Prior to that, he worked in private equity and as a corporate-strategy consultant.
Halverson graduated from Harvard College and received his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
“We are very pleased to have Tom join our leadership team during this exciting time of opportunity for Inari,” said CEO Ponsi Trivisvavet. “His broad experience in finance and agriculture innovation will be invaluable to our growth in the coming years, as we challenge the status quo and address important issues faced by the industry.”
