AgReliant Genetics names Sarah Oznick VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Today, AgReliant Genetics, a leader in seed research, production and quality, is pleased to announce that Sarah Oznick has been named the company's VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.As AgReliant Genetics’ VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Oznick will lead the company’s legal and compliance departments.
In this role, she will be responsible for managing day-to-day corporate legal affairs and governance, participating in executive management activities, and providing advice and legal support on a wide variety of business transactions, including, but not limited to, commercial transactions, employee relations, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property licensing. She will also be responsible for coordinating similar legal tasks for our Canadian sister company AgReliant Genetics Inc. and serving as the legal contact for AgReliant Genetics parent companies – KWS and Groupe Limagrain.
Oznick will also be a member of AgReliant Genetics' operating committee and be a key participant in the company’s strategic and operational planning and decisions.
Oznick has nearly 10 years of broad in-house experience across legal subject matters and in diverse industries. She first joined the AgReliant Genetics team in February 2016 as Legal Counsel and was promoted to AgReliant’s Deputy General Counsel in June 2018. Prior to joining AgReliant, Oznick served as Associate General Counsel at TCS Education System, a non-profit higher education service provider with five affiliated colleges and universities, where she had responsibility in providing all business units with legal support, litigation management, and risk and compliance guidance. Prior to that she was Assistant General Counsel at the Chicago Board of Education.
Oznick has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Indiana University and her Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law. She has been admitted to the bar in both Indiana and Illinois.
