Syngenta has launched a new AgriClime™ offer for 2019 that gives growers double the chance of a payout and up to 30% cash-back.

Launched three years ago, AgriClime was the first offer of its kind giving growers cash-back on their eligible crop protection purchases if a minimum rainfall threshold wasn’t reached.

The aim? To give growers more confidence to invest in their crop protection and offset the risk of low spring rain.

AgriClime has already given more than $850,000 cash-back to growers nationwide. That figure will only grow now that Syngenta has increased the offer up to a 30% cash-back.

“We sought feedback from growers and advisors which told us that they would like to see more payouts more often, and up to a higher amount,” AgriClime Program Manager Angus Rutherford said.

“So for 2019 we have ramped up the offer to be double the chance of a payout and up to 30% cash-back.”

To qualify, growers must purchase a minimum of two eligible Syngenta products to a combined minimum value of $15,000. Purchases between October 2018 and September 2019 are eligible.

Farmers are then directed to go online to a new-look sign-up platform to complete their registration, where Syngenta has made further improvements.

Smaller 5 X 5km Grid Cells offer a localised fit with farms and rainfall patterns, and growers are urged to check each grid cell on their property to find the best offer for them. The tool also enables growers to quickly and easily switch between the two offer periods to see which is best suited to an individual farm.

TWO OFFER PERIODS:

August-September 2019
September-October 2019

A PDF confirmation will also be available for download on submission.

“These changes will in our view give growers more confidence to invest in a better crop protection program up front, as there is greater risk management built in at the back end of the season. This risk management covers the risk of low rainfall and the financial outlay of crop protection," Angus said.
Qualifying products include: AFFIRM®, AMISTAR XTRA®, AXIAL®, AXIAL XTRA®, BOXER GOLD®, CRUISER® 350 FS, CRUISER® OPTI, DUAL GOLD®, ELATUS™ ACE, KARATE ZEON®, MIRAVIS®, MODDUS® EVO, SPRAY.SEED®, TALINOR™, UNIFORM® and VIBRANCE®.
