ACCERES expands in Italy through its field testing firm Promo-Vert

Promo-Vert Italia, with headquarters in Massa Lombarda (Ravenna), and subsidiary stations in Udine and Taranto, has recently opened a new office in Catania, Italy .

Created in France in 1985, Promo-Vert is one of the most experienced field testing firm in Europe with more than 1000 trials performed each year. Since his acquisition by ACCERES earlier this year, Promo?Vert has significantly expended its presence in Italy and plans to continue its development on the territory while developping its wealth of expertise in a large variety of crops.

Promo-Vert carries out GEP (Good Experimental Practice) trials for biostimulants, biopesticides and conventional crop protection products in all crops. It also sets up demonstration platforms and establish (seed) specific crops on demand (rice, tobacco, ...).

Beyond that, Promo-Vert has developed a unique expertise in the following areas:

- Inoculum of fungus disease (South European Plateform) including nematodes (together with
Spain office);
- Biostimulants and biocontrol agents, through creation of a dedicated european team;
- Quality analysis of fruit and vegetables production (sugar, color, texture,…).

Promo-Vert Italia will also soon propose GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) trials for its customers. Its expertise is reinforced and leveraged by the cooperation with GAB Consulting (part of ACCERES Group), which is the leading European regulatory consulting company offering comprehensive registration services for the biopesticide and agrochemical industry.
