Corteva Agriscience announced the launch of the insecticide, Intrepid Edge® (spinetoram + methoxyfenozide), which is effective for controlling caterpillars that attack and damage soybean crops in Brazil.
With its unique formulation and two unique and exclusive modes of action, the product combines knockdown and residual effects.
"Brazil is the second largest soybean producer in the world, only behind the United States. The 2018 agricultural crop is expected to exceed 227 million tons. But to keep breaking production records, Brazilian farmers need adequate tools to better manage pests. Intrepid Edge will meet this demand, by controlling the major caterpillars that attack soybeans, contributing to proper crop management,” explained Thomas Scott, Lead of Insecticides at Corteva Agriscience in Brazil.
