EU market opened for Hailir’s pyraclostrobin technical product

Chinese agrochemical company Hailir’s pyraclostrobin technical product recently received the  EU technical equivalence approval, confirming that the EU market is open to the product, which can now be sold in all its member states.

Since its market release in 2002, pyraclostrobin has witnessed considerable success and has become the world’s second leading fungicide. It is registered in more than 60 countries and can be applied to over 150 crop varieties. Global sales of pyraclostrobin reached US$920 million, and its major markets include Brazil, the United States (US) and the EU.

As the pyraclostrobin industry leader in China, which is backed up by research by the National Corporate Technical Center and various academic institutions, Hailir has developed leading domestic products, such as JIRUN (pyraclostrobin 50% WDG). Hailir’s 1,000-ton pyraclostrobin technical capacity is being increased step by step.

Through the EU certification, sales of the product in the international market are expected to grow further, which will enhance the company’s overall business performance.
