The production locations of Chinese pesticide enterprises are centralized in the provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and Sichuan. At the present time, the environmental compliance regulation of the Chinese central government is expected to remain the most strict in its history, which will have a continued impact on the load of production of pesticide intermediates and related products. It is foreseen that the insufficient capacity of running and the rising of prices, which has lasted for 1 year, will continue.
