Arysta LifeScience has announced the establishment of a new field research station in Long An, Vietnam.
The station will work with local agricultural researchers and agronomists to help growers improve the quality and yield of their crops. It also demonstrates Arysta LifeScience’s effort to innovate and collaborate with an important strategic partner, Hokko Chemical.
“Arysta LifeScience is highly committed to innovation,” said Andreas Hopf, Director of Global Agronomic R&D for Arysta LifeScience. “We constantly renew our portfolio of differentiated solutions with R&D efforts focusing on the development of new formulations, new active ingredient mixtures and innovative delivery systems. Our library of active substances and core technologies continues to grow thanks to strategic partnerships with established chemistry-discovery companies and start-ups. This station allows us to test our solutions to serve our customers’ needs in local conditions, strengthens our partnership with Hokko in field research and puts us on the cutting edge of R&D solutions in South Asia.”
“The new research center will accelerate the development of products to help growers protect rice crops from weeds, insects and diseases,” explained Yoshikatsu Nakashima, President of Hokko Chemical.
The new station, which will begin operations in early 2019, will serve customers throughout the world.
