Mr. Youjin Lee, elected as CEO of FarmHannong

November 28, FarmHannong Co., Ltd. Board of Directors announced its selection of Mr. Youjin Lee as CEO of FarmHannong, a LG affiliated company. Mr. Lee assumes leadership of the company following the retirement of executive vice president, Dr. Yongwhan Kim as the role of CEO effective Dec.1 on 2018.
Mr. Lee comes to the CEO position after successfully completing a series of role as an executive member within the LG group. His previous roles this year, before the appointment, were analysing market insights, evaluating business performance and developing growth strategy for FarmHannong as a head of management innovation department.
Prior to joining FarmHannong in 2016, Mr. Lee had excelled in executive operations management and significant working roles at several key affiliates of LG groups, Serveone, LG Toyo Engineering and LG Chem. Mr. Lee has almost 30 years’ experience specifically in the areas of technology, planning, and marketing, as well, across these companies.
The FarmHannong’s organization structure will be reorganized following new CEO elected which newly creates CTO (Chief Technology Officer) whose head vice president, Ph.D. Jang integrating three R&D structures of crop protection, fertilizer, and seed. In addition, overseas business of those three business departments also will become a consolidating global business department, and will be operated by vice president Jeff Kwon for maximizing synergy on overseas growth.
