The second edition of Startup Day was hosted at Syngenta's Brazil headquarters. Syngenta opened its doors so that proposals focused on the digitization of agricultural management were presented by five startups, who have been prominent in the development solutions: Perfect Flight, AgroNow, Inceres, Solinftec and YouAgro.
Monitoring agronomic variables through different sensors and software, a system focused specifically on the sustainability of aerial applications and predictive algorithms focusing on productivity increases, were some of the innovations presented at the event, along with trends and concepts that have been transforming the routine of rural producers in Brazil.
"Our primary mission in promoting Startup Day is to find opportunities to extend the adoption of new technologies in the field that help growers better manage their crops. In addition, we seek to create a collaborative environment among the startups, investment funds, customers and partners of the company," said Ariadne Caballero, Syngenta's Leader in Digital Agriculture in Brazil.
The event was attended by David Pierson, executive of Syngenta Venture Capitals - which has among its missions to identify startups in the development of digital solutions for the agricultural sector - along with executives Francisco Jardim and Thiago Lobão, SP Ventures.
