AgroPages-Production of 3 major categories of pesticide in China all went down in Sep, 2018-Agricultural news

According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), in September 2018, China produced 161,928 tons of pesticide, down regulated 9.4% compared to the same period last year.

On a y-o-y basis, the production of 3 major categories of pesticide all went down in this month. Herbicide production decreased 3.6% to 76,410 tons, which account for 47.2% of the total pesticide production. Insecticides production went down by 22.7% to 31,883 tons and consisted 19.7% of the total production. Fungicide production decreased down by 14.5% to 10,357 tons and accounted for 6.4% of the total production.
