Nufarm recently announced the hiring of Mike Krull as North America lead for portfolio solutions. Krull brings 25 years of agriculture experience to the role, most recently with FMC where he led business development and commercial integration for the U.S. and Canada.
“Mike has extensive experience finding strategic opportunities to align with crop protection company objectives, particularly in new and current technology avenues,” says Brendan Deck, regional general manager for Nufarm in North America. “His strong business development background will be a major asset to the portfolio solutions group.”
Krull’s role at Nufarm will include leadership and oversight of all North American portfolio innovations and partnerships. He will guide the team in developing new solutions and products for Nufarm to bring to market.
Krull also brings prior industry leadership experience from managing Cheminova’s North American business development and the herbicide and insecticide portfolios, as well as leading the vegetation management market at BASF. He holds a Bachelor of Science in agriculture business management from the University of Minnesota.
“We are thrilled to have someone so knowledgeable and integrated in the agricultural industry joining us,” Deck says. “This year will bring many opportunities, and we look forward to having Mike on board.”
