New ChemChina Chairman Ning Gaoning to join ADAMA’s board of directors

Global crop protection company ADAMA, the combination between Adama Agricultural Solutions Ltd. and Hubei Sanonda Co., Ltd., has announced that following the retirement of Ren Jianxin as Chairman of ChemChina, and the appointment of Ning Gaoning as its Chairman, Ning has been nominated to join ADAMA’s board of directors (boards of both ListCo and Solutions), awaiting shareholders’ approval.

Yang Xingqiang, President of ChemChina, continues in his role as Chairman of ADAMA, alongside ADAMA’s other board members.

About Ning Gaoning

Ning Gaoning (Frank Ning), the new Chairman of ChemChina, concurrently serves as Chairman of Sinochem. Previously, Mr. Ning served as Chairman of food and grain group COFCO, and prior to that, led the China Resources Group. Ning has been named in China’s Influential Business Leaders by Fortune, and CCTV China Economic Person of the Year. He holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
