Chinese agrochemical firm Wynca has its Innovation on the Manufacturing Technique of Glyphosate, a project of “11th five-year plan” National Science and Technology Support Programs, passed the acceptance inspection. Thus, Wynca has pioneered in continuous synthesis of glyphosate through glycine route in China. Three patents were applied and one was finally authorized during the developing process, reports Agropages.
The demonstration facilities, equipped with the newly developed continuous process and heat integration technologies, were all functioning properly and measured up.
In China, all glycine processes are intermittently operated, which involve lots of equipment and space, also regarded as inefficient and labor consuming. These new technologies will bring economical and environmental benefit by reducing the consumption on raw material and energy, as well as the quantity of mother liquid and effluent.
