Greenstone launches podcast "outstanding in the field"

Greenstone, part of Cultura Technologies, LLC., an industry leader in agribusiness technology, announces the launch of its podcast, "Outstanding in The Field," now available on iTunes and Google Play.

Hosted by Mike Terning, Head of Product at Greenstone, listeners will partake in an exploration of issues plaguing the industry with the help of Greenstone teammates, customers, and even competitors. "The vision for these podcasts is to share what Greenstone is hearing and provide a sense of what we are doing to address the trends and issues facing agribusiness," explains Terning.

The podcast is not just for Greenstone customers. "Our new series leverages our commanding market position within the origination and processing sub-sectors to share insights and inform listeners on the most pressing issues facing agribusiness today," says Pat Mahapatra, General Manager of Greenstone. These insights can benefit any agribusiness attempting to stay at the top of their game. "Agribusiness customers continue to evolve how they consume information and leverage technology, and we are driving new ways to connect with them and provide value."

The first episode addresses the topic of increasing grower loyalty by "getting sticky." For growers challenged by the constant rise in input costs or reduced crop prices, providing a complete solution spanning inputs to marketing may make the difference for a cooperative trying to remain "sticky" and hold onto a grower, versus losing them to a competitor. Helping Terning break down the topic is CEO of Myriad Mobile, Jake Joraanstad.

In future episodes, listeners will consider ways to improve efficiency, get by on a reduced or fluctuating farm income, survive a merger or consolidation, and prove value to growers. Listeners can expect monthly releases through the end of the year.
