Being a selective herbicide industry leader in China,
Shandong Cynda Chemical recently published its first annual report since listing, which reveals its stable, healthy and sustained development in 2017.
In the previous year, the business income of the company reached ¥1.1188822 billion, which is 29.25 percent up year-on-year while the total profit reached ¥133.81 million, which is 15.34 percent up year-on-year.
On May 11, 2017,
Cynda Chemical was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange. The listing enables the company to move into the capital market, which plays a good foundation for its sustainable development on a long-term basis.
In October 2017, Cynda Chemical entered into an agreement with the Administration Committee of Liaoning Huludao Economic Development Zone for investment in the new build of a pesticide technical and formulation production base, which will be the third production base of the company. It is expected to further enhance the company’s production capacity and its product competitiveness.
In 2018, Cynda Chemical is prepared to speed up the construction of its Huludao Production Base, which covers a 6,000-ton pesticide technical production facility and a 10,000-ton formulation facility, being phase one of the project. Pesticide formulations, technical materials and common utility constructions are scheduled for completion within this year.
Cynda Chemical’s clethodim technical capacity and dimethomorph technical capacity rank first in China while clomazone technical and imazethapyr technical rank second. In the meantime, the company is continuing its effort in research and production of downstream formulations. Almost every pesticide technical is extended to the production of corresponding formulations, resulting in the availability of a complete formulation product portfolio. This ensures complementarity between pesticide technical and formulations, thus enhancing the company’s anti-risk capability and profitability.
This summer, AgroPages will invite officers and analysts from ICAMA/CCPIA to give speeches on industry insights at the 2018 China Pesticide Exporting Workshop (CPEW), which will be held in Hangzhou, China. The attendees will receive important information about the Chinese agrochemical industry, which is critical for pesticide procurement.
To better assist overseas buyers in connecting with Chinese suppliers, AgroPages also plans to hold a closed-door Business Matching Meeting at CPEW for participant overseas. We will screen some of the leading Chinese suppliers of pesticide technical and formulations to meet face-to-face with the overseas audience. Each participant from overseas will have a 10-15 minute opportunity to introduce their company and their specific needs to seek supply support from these Chinese companies.
