AgroPages-Andermatt Biocontrol appoints Russell Blair as CEO for Andermatt USA-Agricultural news

Andermatt Biocontrol announced that it has appointed Russell Blair as CEO for its subsidiary Andermatt USA. Founded 2017, Andermatt USA provides an innovative portfolio and pipeline of biological crop protection products for growers of corn, soybeans, vegetables and other specialty crops.

As the senior U.S. manager, Blair will be responsible for strategic marketing management, business development, product registrations, and operations. An industry veteran, Blair has previously performed various global product management, marketing management and sales roles with Marrone Bio Innovations and Syngenta. Most recently, Blair comes to Andermatt USA from Verizon, where he was AgTech product development lead in the global IoT products and solutions group. Blair holds a Master of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Founded in 1988, Andermatt Biocontrol is a leading biological plant protection company. Key expertise of Andermatt Biocontrol and its subsidiaries includes the development and production of new baculovirus and other microbial-based products as well as the registration and commercialization of novel crop protection and nutrition solutions worldwide.
