Chinese pesticides demand is expected to increase 3-6% annually for the next few years. The demands for insecticides expected to drop, and fungicides to rise, while herbicides demand will increase rapidly.
In 2010 the total demand for pesticides in China is predicted to amount to 302,700 tonnes. Demand for insecticides is about 129,500 tonnes, and acaricides demand is 9,700 tonnes. Demand for fungicides and herbicides will be 70,700 tonnes and 98,100 tonnes respectively. Since rational development of the demand in the next following years, the domestic market is expected to maintain at an annual growth rate of 3-6%.
