TyraTech wins payments from Arysta

The US pesticide company, TyraTech (Melbourne, Florida), has received milestone payments from its partner, Arysta LifeScience, for achieving efficacy and cost targets in the development of essential oil-based insecticides. In 2006, TyraTech and Arysta entered into a global licensing and co-development agreement to manufacture and market the insecticides for the horticultural sector. Field testing of the lead product prototypes has been underway since late 2006, TyraTech says. The company introduced its first product under the TyraTech Naturals range in October 2007. It is a spray for the control of crawling insects in commercial and institutional facilities.
