Bharat Insecticides celebrates Republic Day with farmers with “SAFE USE OF PESTICIDES” theme

Bharat Insecticides Ltd. has been enabling farmers to protect their crops since last four decades by supplying them high quality Agrochemicals. It is important to apply Agrochemicals as per safety guidelines to protect farmers’ health. With this objective, Bharat Insecticides Ltd celebrated India’s 69th Republic Day on 26th Jan 2018 along with the farmers on the theme “SAFE USE OF PESTICIDES”. 

The Bharat Insecticides Ltd. team conducted more than 160 farmer meetings in a single day covering thousands of farmers across the country to spread awareness about safe use of pesticides. The day was dedicated to only safety and the company officials did not discuss anything about their products as their main focus was to make farmers aware of the importance of Safe usage of pesticides. 

The team also imparted knowledge about the importance of using Safety kit (apron, mask, goggles and gloves) while applying pesticides and precautions to be taken while handling pesticides. They also displayed how safety gear has to be worn properly. After giving detailed presentation for safe application of pesticides, a safety quiz was organised amongst farmers and safety kit was given as a prize for every correct answer. 

Bharat Insecticides Ltd team members also thanked and appreciated the farmer community for their priceless contribution to the social and economic development of our country.
