Global crop protection group ADAMA, the combination of Adama Agricultural Solutions Ltd. and Hubei Sanonda Co., Ltd. (together, “ADAMA” or “the Combined Company”), recently announced that Joseph M. Krkoska will be joining the Combined Company's management as Executive Vice President of Global Operations. Krkoska succeeds Dr. Eli Abramov, who decided to retire following six years of leading this function.
Krkoska joins ADAMA from the Dow Chemical Company, where he held positions of increasing managerial responsibility over the past 30 years, across R&D, manufacturing and operations. In his most recent role, he served as Global Supply Chain Director at Dow AgroSciences.
Krkoska has significant experience in the design, development and management of large-scale, global, multi-site operations, international sourcing, manufacturing and supply chain.
"We are pleased to welcome Joe Krkoska to ADAMA”, said Chen Lichtenstein, the Combined Company’s President and CEO. “Joe is a recognized strategic thinker who led complex organizational structures throughout his career. Together with our excellent global operations team, I am confident that he will further enhance our sustainable positioning and strengthen our supply platform.”
Krkoska holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, with additional certifications from the Universities of Michigan, Harvard and Thunderbird. He will be based at the Combined Company’s Israel headquarters.
Lichtenstein added that “Under Eli Abramov’s leadership, ADAMA significantly reduced its inventory levels, decreased costs of manufacturing, procurement and logistics, focused on product quality and lowered its environmental footprint. He also played a key role in establishing our operational hub in China. We thank Eli and wish him success and fulfillment in the years to come.”
