Plant Impact plc announced a new commercial agreement with Albaugh Brazil (“Albaugh”).
Plant Impact will work with Albaugh to supply Brazilian growers advanced foliar-applied formulation technologies that solve problems commonly experienced with existing market-standard product formulations.
Under the agreement, Albaugh will exclusively commercialise certain Plant Impact formulation technologies as proprietary Albaugh product offerings. Albaugh will offer products based on these formulation advancements through its extensive dealer network, reaching growers in the primary soybean, corn, cotton and coffee growing regions of Brazil.
Albaugh announced the launch and regional test marketing programme of Fortiori®, a new Plant Impact formulation technology which resolves the significant “in-tank” antagonism existing between glyphosate herbicides and foliar-applied manganese nutrients. By eliminating this antagonism, Fortiori® improves weed control and plant health while reducing on-farm operational costs.
“This is an important milestone for Plant Impact. While our core chemical biostimulant products continue to establish a following among soybean growers, we have identified an opportunity to use our formulation expertise to create new, high-quality products that solve problems for growers. The Fortiori introduction and our partnership with Albaugh Brazil allows us to extend the reach of our technology further into the market. We are proud to work with Albaugh to bring this solution to the Brazilian Cerrado alongside Preciso, their popular glyphosate product,” commented John Brubaker, Chief Executive Officer of Plant Impact.
“We at Albaugh Brazil are very confident in this partnership with Plant Impact. This joint offer of Fortiori plus our glyphosates is fully in line with our goal in the Brazilian Cerrado, having an exclusive offer to our strategic dealer partners, delivering excellent quality products, and increasing the profitability of the Brazilian farmer. The perfect combination to deliver these results is the synergy between our operational excellence and Plant Impact innovation,” commented Renato Seraphim, President of Albaugh Brazil.
