Lindsay Corporation has named Emily Hardie director of marketing. In her new role, Hardie will oversee all irrigation-related and corporate marketing activities. She also will coordinate with all international irrigation markets to ensure clear and consistent global branding and product positioning.

With more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience, Hardie has served a broad range of companies in a variety of industries including agriculture, consumer electronics, automotive, aviation, logistics, healthcare, financial services, real estate, publishing and telecommunications.

"We are very pleased to welcome Emily to our team," said Brian Magnusson, vice president of Technology Solutions and Marketing at Lindsay Corporation. "Her background and experience - particularly in the agriculture industry - will be key as we continue to lead the worldwide effort to provide sustainable water management solutions."

Hardie comes to Lindsay from AGCO Corporation where she oversaw the launch of the company's global precision farming brand, Fuse. As the manager of Global Fuse Marketing & Business Support, she led the team responsible for maintaining Fuse's strategic messaging, branding, training, product and service communications and product support. She also supported the global development and roll out of Fuse Connected Services and the development of AGCO's Fuse product and service offerings in the China market.

Prior to her employment at AGCO, Hardie provided client service and strategy for global clients at Mastermind Marketing in Atlanta, Georgia and Evolve Design Group in Orlando, Florida.

Hardie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising/Public Relations from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Georgia. She currently chairs the Board of Directors of the Showcase Group, which serves at-risk youth. Earlier this year she received a 2017 STEP Ahead Award by the Manufacturing Institute, which recognizes women in manufacturing.
