recently issued its 2017 H1 semi-annual report revealing a business income of Yuan733 million in the first half of 2017, up 9.94 percent year-on-year (y-o-y), as well as net profit of Yuan113 million attributable to shareholders, up 25.11 percent y-o-y.
At present, Suli is mainly engaged in the research, production and marketing of pesticides, fire retardants and other fine chemicals. The main products of the company include a Chlorothalonil technical, an Azoxystrobin technical, pesticide formulations, DBDPE and Hydrobromic acid. Its subsidiary Jiangyin Suli Chemical is China’s largest and the world’s second largest Chlorothalonil technical supplier.
During the report period, the company was granted four invention patents and five utility model patents, while another 14 patents are in the process. This year, Suli has focused its efforts on the development of new products and pesticide formulations, as well as promotions in the Southeast Asian market and South American market, where initial achievements were reported and which has help build a solid foundation for sustainable development of the company on a long-term basis.
Besides, Suli said the company has made preliminary achievement in research and development of environment-friendly new pesticide formulations. While maintaining its industry leadership status, the company has developed some 120 environment-friendly pesticide varieties, which can replace conventional formulations, over 60 of which have been brought into mass production.
