Sharda Cropchem consolidated net profit rises 4.8% in Q1 FY18

Sharda Cropchem's consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 341.1 crore, registering 8.4% yoy increase. This was mainly driven by 13.2% yoy increase in revenue from Agrochemicals.
EBITDA for the quarter fell by 6.2% yoy to Rs. 62.5 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 285 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 18.3%. This margin contraction was led by 41.6% yoy increase in cost of materials.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 42.7 crore, yoy increase of 4.8%.
