Q. Could you briefly introduce your company?
Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology Ltd was founded in 2012. Our company is based in Anhui Province, and our business coverage includes the whole central part of China. So far, we have established long-term partnership with well-known pesticide enterprises at home and abroad, including Sino-Agri Group, BASF, FMC, Syngenta and Nihon Nohyaku, as well as several Chinese fertilizer and seed production enterprises. Additionally, we have set up an agricultural material supply and service platform, including more than 150 outstanding distributors, for the promotion of novel products and new technology in central China.
Over the last several years, Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology has successfully achieved top sales for the three single-agent products of Syngenta-Armure ®300EC, Actara™25WG and Topic, followed by top sales for Syngenta’s Axial. Besides these, in three years, the company has created several province-wide agricultural material best sellers, such as Zamirr (ADAMA) and ZETA-ONE (Sumitomo Chemical). In the years ahead, Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology is confident of more success in ensuring top sales. In the meantime, the company is establishing a number of biopesticide brands. Through integration of conventional pesticide and biopesticide, the product portfolio of our company has been built to provide farmers with complete crop protection solutions.
Q. Could you tell us about your business ideas?
Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology has always positioned itself as an “animal hospital,” which means we provide consultancy service free of charge to growers covering pest diagnosis, plant disease treatment and nutritional requirement, thus making available total solutions for farmers.
While we adhere to this business philosophy, the business operations of Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology are focused on five areas: 1) Research and development of pesticide application techniques, such as the thermal spraying and sedimentation technology of the company; 2) Yield-increase aid, including plant nutrition, plant health, plant immunity, seedling protection and disaster resistance, thus forming a comprehensive plant health and yield-increase program; 3) Organic prevention and control technique, such as the organic control for strawberry, tea and medicinal herb; 4) Prevention and control of resistant weed; 5) Grave pest and disease control.
It is with such business logic and development philosophy that Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology has established close relationship with prime pesticide vendors at home and abroad, including Sino-Agri Group, BASF, FMC, Syngenta and Nihon Nohyaku. Q. Could you tell us your plan?
With the emergence of new-generation agricultural business practitioners and the increasing popularity of internet applications, Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology has started working on an application to establish an agricultural big data platform, based on the year-long accumulated information by our company. The app will provide online information on farmers, product, crop planting, soil survey and fertilization, pest monitoring, telediagnosis, as well as distributor and retail shop linkage, which will be consolidated and updated from time to time to provide farmers with a one-stop service.
Furthermore, under the circumstances that require reduction of pesticide use in China, we hope to find complementary products for our product line and to bring in more environment-friendly pesticide from overseas market, including biopesticide to serve our customers better.
About General Manager Mr. Cheng
In 1997, Mr Cheng joined RhonePouIenc (acquired by Bayer), being one of the members of the “dream team” for promotion of Bayer’s fipronil in the Chinese market. Later on, he held the position of Vice General Manager of Anhui Huishang Nongjiafu Ltd, where a first-class Chinese agricultural material chain operation system was established with reference to the advanced chain operation experiences overseas. In March 2012, Hui Fu Qiang Agricultural Science and Technology Ltd was founded, which has become a leading distributor in central China within a short time.
