Nortox has registered the herbicide Glyphosate 720 WG, made by the Chinese company Jiangsu Good Harvest Weien Agrochemical in Brazil.
The product can be used in crops, such as cotton, rice, coffee, sugarcane, citrus, eucalyptus, corn, pinus, and soybeans. It is a non-selective herbicide with post-emergent action, and presents as water dispersible granules.
According to Nortox, due to its systemic properties, Glyphosate 720 WG allows for the total control of weeds, both monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous, which are achieved by herbicide action, not only from an aerial part, but also in the root. Its use is indicated in the application of post-emergent crop and weeds for chemical weeding in coffee, citrus, and sugarcane.
It is also indicated for the control of weeds in the application of total area for the pre-planting of crop and post-emergency of weeds for the direct planting of cotton, rice, corn, and soybeans. It is recommended for the use of chemical weeding for the eradication of vegetation in pre-planting applications and between the lines of the jet directed for Pinus or eucalyptus. It is also recommended for the re-growth of eucalyptus for renovation of planting area.
