AgVenture, Inc. welcomes Seed and Technology Manager, Darren Bakken

AgVenture, Inc. (AVI) has welcomed Darren Bakken as Seed and Technology Manager. Bakken, a native of Illinois, brings a decade of focused seed industry leadership in research, product marketing, and management roles. He will provide leadership and product support to AVI’s nationwide network of Regional Seed Companies (RSCs).

AgVenture Product and Technology Manager, Scott Hart said, “This is a vital role for our company as we continue to grow and innovate in the industry. Darren has the skillset to accomplish this. He will manage our corn and soybean portfolios throughout their entire lifecycles; from strategic planning to tactical implementation. His leadership and guidance in this role will help AgVenture customers maximize the profitability of today’s products, as we source unique, new, advantageous seed products well into the future.”

Bakken attended The University of Illinois where he earned a Master of Science degree in Crop Science (Integrated Pest Management), and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Economics and Crop Science.
