Cultura Technologies, industry leader in agribusiness technology solutions, has just launched their newest company, Solentra. Cultura provides agribusiness software solutions to operations of all sizes throughout the globe. Solentra will serve the enterprise agribusiness sector with regional headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, USA and Chorley, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
"Solentra was formed to serve the unique needs of global agribusiness suppliers. Given its position inside of Cultura, Solentra will play a key role in helping global suppliers take advantage of its growing portfolio of products and services," says Rich Reynertson, Cultura North America Director and General Manager of Solentra.
As agriculture gears up to help feed the nearly 10 million people on earth by 2050, global suppliers must safely and environmentally increase supply, drive improvement, and increase overall efficiencies. One way that agribusinesses plan to meet the demand is through the use of technology; updating systems ranging from the back office and out to the field. Chris Morrissey, Senior Manager with Solentra adds, "As world demand for food grows, the technology sector will play a pivotal role in meeting this demand."
Agribusinesses often face the challenge of finding software meant to respond to their industry needs, and that is built by people who truly understand how robust and nuanced agriculture can be. Morrissey explains, "Solentra's blend of agribusiness and technology expertise enables us to provide innovative solutions to meet the complex and burgeoning challenges facing large agri-food organizations today."
Solentra's team has decades of experience in both agriculture and technology. The Solentra team is optimistic about the impact they will make with customers through leveraging their own resources and those of Cultura and its worldwide network of companies. Reynertson believes that, "By building upon Cultura's existing capabilities, Solentra is uniquely positioned to bring additional value to help global players take advantage of new technologies."
