Hebang, STK launch biofungicide Timorex Gold for Chinese market

Dr. Daphna, Global Product Manager of STK, said that Timorex Gold® was developed through the independent research of the STK and was a patented product of the company. The product has obtained organic certification in six countries and regions including the EU. It is the first overseas biopesticide with top-level certification entering the Chinese market.
Timorex Gold® is a natural no-residue fungicide extracted from tea tree oil, which is conducive to increase in the quality and yield of farm products. Moreover, Timorex Gold® is featured for its properties of resistance management and flexible applications. It is very effective on application to rice, tobacco, tea, vegetable and fruit.
Currently, Timorex Gold® is registered for application to tomato and strawberry, and is expected to be extended in future to grape, banana, tobacco, tea, mango, coffee and rice. The product is targeted at vegetable, fruits and high-value crops all over China.
Industry experts pointed out that the release of the novel product was in response to the concept of “green agricultural development to ensure food safety,” which is addressed in the 2017 Chinese Central Government No.1 Document.
The release of the product is of great significance to upgrading of Chinese agricultural technology. Its launch in China is also a primary achievement of the Hebang Group’s internationalization strategy.
The company will continue to seek chances of international co-operation focusing on real economy and sustainable development, officials informed.
