United Phosphorus Q3 net up 6.63%

IndiaMUMBAI: Agrochemical firm, United Phosphorus, said on Thursday that its consolidated net profit rose by 6.63 per cent to Rs 65.11 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, over the same period last fiscal.
Total income rose to Rs 1,149.68 crore for the latest quarter against Rs 1,083.88 crore for the same period previous fiscal, United Phosphorus said in a filing to the BSE.
For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2009, the company posted a net profit of Rs 332.81 crore against Rs 317.26 crore for the same period corresponding fiscal.
