DuPont Crop Protection held events in the city of São Paulo to introduce a new fungicide Vessarya (picoxystrobin + benzovindiflupyr).

The meeting gathered over 500 guests from all over Brazil, among them farmers, researchers, distributors, and representative companies.

According to DuPont, the new fungicide will allow for a better control of Asian rust among the diseases of soybeans. The differential is that Vessarya dispenses the use of oil and uses the molecules picoxystrobin and benzovindiflupyr in the formula. Both are described as the most active biologically among its chemical groups (strobilurin and carboxamides).

During the event, the vice-president of DuPont Crop Protection in Brazil, Mario Tenerelli, highlighted that Vessarya will have a position integrated with that of the company's Fungicide Program for soybeans, which is also part of the product Aproach® Prima (picoxystrobin + cyproconazole). “Aproach Prima is the ideal partner for Vessarya to control diseases in soybeans,” said Tenerelli.

“Vessarya represents a biological innovative solution for producers that face permanent challenges. It has been developed in Brazil for over five years with an exceptional performance in comparison with other technologies in the market. It is the best combination of molecules in the marketplace,” concluded Tenerelli.
