Seeds, agrochemicals now for sale online in Argentina

Agroads and Bioceres have inaugurated the first e-commerce platform for the sales of seeds and agrochemicals in Argentina.
"The inaugural act" is consolidated through an original proposal called Smart Sale, which would run from April 24 to April 28, in which two companies will provide a set of agricultural solutions to all agricultural communities with all the advantages through the website: www.agroads.com.ar/smartsale.
Through the platform, users can access a complete pallet of products with discounts ranging 10 percent to 30 percent, financed up to 270 days without interest through partnerships with credit cards of different banks. Besides, it will also provide technical advice at the moment of purchase for the decision of what is the best proposal adapted for each situation, with additional benefit of relying on a logistical solutions integrated with all the corners of the country.
“It is a week of opportunity to do smart purchases,” explained Juan Manuel Lamarque, commercial manager at Bioceres. He further said: “Farmers can resolve their most complex problems from a complete point of view of attending economic, logistical and agronomic issues.”
“The purchases of inputs and seeds through the internet have not existed until now,” said Roberto Rodriguez, chief executive officer (CEO) at Agroads. “With Smart Sales, we have inaugurated a new paradigm of commercialization. We are changing the way that the farmers connect to companies through digital channels of integral solutions, simplifying the management of the purchase for use and incorporating all the benefits of e-commerce.”
“It is not a price war but, quite the opposite, a smart purchase in a space of interaction where the producer feels safe with the advantage of having an efficient delivery to the field and programmed in each corner of the country through a network of distributors of Bioceres,” added Lamarque.
But going further than the week of “Smart Sales,” farmers can now rely on a permanent platform for commercialization online. Through www.agroads.com.ar/insumos, users can have agronomic solutions, a complete portfolio that offers one of 110 products from distributors, such as Bioceres, Produsem, Argos Solutions, Bayer, Syngenta, Dow, BASF, FMC, KWS Seed, Gapp, among others; receive agronomic advise and grow the new crop with the help of several products, with logistics of delivery guaranteed.
