New Arysta Life Science held a grand ceremony to launch its new brand of Strobilurin fungicide Evito-C (fluoxastrobin+ chlorothalonil) for the Chinese market on March 16 in Hangzhou.
This is the first time the company has released its active ingredient Fluoxastrobinto in China. Hisaya Kobayashi, CEO of Arysta Asia and Prashant Kharwadkar, Head of Arysta North Asia attended the ceremony.
This is the first appearance of the Fluoxastrobin fungicide in China, in the form of Evito-C. Fluoxastrobin (trade name Fandango used in some countries) is a brand new Strobilurin fungicide, which has been widely used and is well recognized in a lot of countries.
The product is mainly used for stem and foliar spraying and soil treatment, and can be applied flexibly during different stages of plant growth. It provides effective protection and good treatment efficacy in the early fungal infection stages and during the mycelial growth period.
Compared with similar products in the market, Fluoxastrobin is more systemic and has an excellent disease control capacity, as well as a remarkable plant healthcare function. The product can effectively prevent and control almost all fungi diseases existing in cereal crops, potato, vegetable and coffee, such as rust, blight, powdery mildew, downy mildew, anthracnose and leaf spot. Its killing effect is fast, long lasting and safe for crops.
Fluoxastrobin has a stronger effect during uptake and translocation, which after application can permeate through the wax coat in 15 minutes, reach the leaf tissue in six hours and be relocated inside the xylem in nine hours while being resistant to rain wash.
Chlorothalonil is the other ingredient of Evito-C, which is of contact action. After being applied, it provides good adhesion and long-lasting protection, though not systemic. The two ingredients show complementing advantages in action mode and mechanism, which enable Evito-C to become more effective and dependable, especially being protective towards new leaves and shoots.
It is reported that Evito-C has also got an excellent plant healthcare function, where a same amount of spending will ensure more commodity fruit for farmers.

Arysta Life Science will concentrate on serving the global specialty market, with balanced regional coverage and different product ranges, using its strong research, registration and formulation development capacity to provide farmers with practical solutions via a distinctive business mode.
