ADOB, the leading Polish foliar fertilizer producer, participated in the 15th New Ag International conference & exhibition. During the exhibition ADOB focused on its biodegradable IDHA chelates informing widely about chelates unique technical features and presenting the products’ sample on the company’s booth.
IDHA chelates were developed by ADOB together with Bayer (currently Lanxess) and are the only environmentally chelates in the market. The chelates are biodegradable and don’t accumulate in soil or ground water. The use of IDHA chelates results in quick nutrient uptake, high nutrient concentration in leaves and better biomass productivity. IDHA chelates are quickly and fully soluble, dust free and no hygroscopic products which can be applied in agriculture and horticulture as foliar sprays, in soil application as well as in hydroponics and fertigation. The current product portfolio consist of following IDHA chelates: Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu, Ca, Mg. It might be quickly widened to include tailored physical blends and chemically produced compounds adapted to specific local conditions, soil and plant requirements.
The conference part of the latest New Ag International was concentrated on specialty plant nutrition, water saving and fertigation technologies, precision agriculture and biostimulants. Magdalena Chojnacka-Jankowiak from ADOB gave a lecture on “Fe HBED - From Medical to Agronomic Applications”. She presented possibilities of medical Fe HBED application in different kind of iron disorders in living organism and human beings. Mrs. Chojnacka-Jankowiak talked as well about agriculture usage of Fe HBED chelate on calcareous soil and pointed to HBED broad advantages like high, fully available to plants iron concentration, high stability up to pH 12, the highest affinity and selectivity to trivalent Fe ions and low Cu affinity. At the moment, Fe HBED chelate patented by ADOB, is the strongest chelate among Fe chelates commonly used in agriculture. Its high efficacy in plant fertilization were confirmed in many field trials conducted by ADOB which results were shortly summed up by Mrs. Chojnacka-Jankowiak during her lecture.
“We had very busy and active time in Berlin” said Mr. Adam Nawrocki, ADOB owner and CEO, leaving the conference on Friday. “ We took a lot of fruitful meetings with our current and potential customers and we heard a lot of good things about quality of our products. It is very inspiring for us and confirm that we are on the right track to meet and satisfy needs and requirements of our customers. We are looking ahead to meet again our partners on the next New Ag International in Kenia” said Mr. Nawrocki.
