Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced Hokko Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (Hokko) has established a North American representative office out of its headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.
"The office partnership in Cary only further solidifies the partnership between Arysta LifeScience and Hokko," said Rico Christensen, President, North America, Australia/New Zealand, Arysta LifeScience. "Our two companies have a long history of collaboration in the crop protection field, and we look forward to further projects together to continue to provide solutions to growers around the globe."
Hokko, which develops crop protection and fine chemical products in Japan, has collaborated with Arysta LifeScience in the past; the two companies worked together to bring KASUMIN® Bactericide to the United States market. KASUMIN is used by pome fruit growers to fight bacterial diseases like Fire blight and is registered for use in more than 45 states.
"Since the establishment of Hokko in 1950, our company has worked to be a leading producer of crop protection products in Japan," said Kohichi Ogita, General Manager, Hokko. "Now, by establishing a North American office, our efforts - especially when partnered with those of Arysta LifeScience - will allow us to bring new technologies to the crop protection market that will benefit U.S. customers."
