Go Grow gives non-expert farmers quality seeds and the knowledge they need to succeed when cultivating a new vegetable for the first time.” Go Grow is initially introduced in Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines.
The Go Grow range targets farmers who want to try a new crop but have limited knowledge on the required cultivation techniques.
In 2017, the company celebrates its 35th anniversary with the theme “Growing Opportunities.” The introduction of
Go Grow underlines the company’s commitment to innovation in all fields, including ways to share cultivation techniques. It makes better seed varieties available and shares knowledge of growing with smallholder farmers in their own language, supported by clear visuals.
“Our mission is to increase the income of smallholder farmers,” said Bert van der Feltz, President and CEO of East West Seed. “Farmers are facing bigger challenges today, so we are more committed than ever to offer them the best products that are more resilient to climate change, require less pesticides, and contribute to better nutrition.”
