GroGenesis, Inc. recently announced the signing of a distributorship agreement with Vita-Agro S.A.S. for the South American country of Colombia.
Manuel Oviedo, Director General of Vita-Agro S.A.S., said, "For more than two decades, I have been involved in protecting the environment -- from building a hand hygiene program for healthcare infection control to developing environmentally friendly food processing systems. I strongly believe that the Latin American agricultural sector is in need of adopting sustainable non-GMO and organic farming practices to protect and enhance the health of the soil while, at the same time, increasing yields, reducing overall production costs, increasing the profits for producers and delivering better quality food to the market."
Mr. Oviedo added, "When we were referred to GroGenesis and its proprietary non-GMO, organic nano-surfactant, we wanted to field test it here with our large farmer base in Colombia. After several control tests on various crops, the results were extraordinary. The yields increased dramatically while enabling a significant reduction of chemical input.
"Vita-Agro is very excited to private label this remarkable agricultural input under the trademarked name AllGreen PRO™ to add to our proven sustainable protocols."
Mr. Richard Kamolvathin, President and CEO of GroGenesis, Inc., said, "GroGenesis is very fortunate to have this opportunity to execute an exclusive agreement with Vita Agro. Mr. Ovideo is a committed partner and leader who has a proven track record of success in non-GMO and organic food production in Latin America.
I feel strongly that GroGenesis has a tremendous opportunity to help concerned food growers achieve their mission of restoring soil health, water quality and nutrition in food with AgraBurst PRO™, as well as other proprietary organic technologies that are in various stages of research and development. We look forward to a strong roll out of these advances of non-GMO and organic agricultural science in 2017."
