Nufarm projects strategies to develop Brazilian pasture market

The control of invasive plants in pasture areas will be a key strategy of the Australian company Nufarm for growth in Brazil agrochemicals market. The company hosted a group of input distributors, who act in strategic areas of cattle farming in Brazil, last week in Fortaleza, state of Ceará. On the occasion, Nufarm presented the innovations that it intended to introduce in the country in the coming years.
Nufarm, one of the major producers of herbicides for pastures in the Brazilian market, announced at the meeting that it will supply the cutting-edge technology with different profiles to the owners of both small and large cattle herds. According to Maurício Peternelli, the marketing manager of regional pasture of Nufarm, some of the best known inputs in the sector belong to the Nufarm portfolio, such as Nufuron®, Pique®, Texas® and Tractor®.
During the event in Fortaleza, Professor Juliano Resende of the Associated Colleges of Uberaba (Minas Gerais) presented a lecture to the guests under the subject “The importance of pasture for bovine farming." The program also included a visit to the Nufarm unit in the city of Maracanaú in the Metropolitan region of Fortaleza, an industrial plant with cutting-edge technology, covering an area of 160 square meters.
