On 10, November 2016, affected by a series of favorable factors, such as the formulation of glyphosate and dicamba approved by US EPA, the rising cost of raw materials, environmental protection inspection, the glyphosate concept stock rose sharply by the closing of shanghai and shenzhen stock market. Some insider analyze that glyphosate price expect to soar, which rising rang will be impacted by environmental protection inspection. Last week, main glyphosate manufacturers rose the quotation of glyphosate, which quotation were respectively 22,000 yuan/t for Shangdong Rainbow, 21,000 yuan/t for Fuhua Tongda, 23,000yuan/t for Jiangshan, 21,200yuan/t for Zhejiang Wynca and 21,300yuan/t for Zhejiang Jinfanda.

Currently, China main manufacturers of dicamba are Jiangsu Yangnong with capacity of 5,000 tonnes, Jiangsu Changqing with the capacity 3,000 tons. Yangnong is expected to launch 20,000 -ton dicamba in Q2 2017, Changqing is expected to expand 10,000 tonnes, the approved dicamba formulation provide two companies with more space of development. Environmental protection is still key factor for the rising of glyphosate price.
