Global crop protection specialists, Adama, and Australia’s commercial apple and pear producers have announced a new sponsorship arrangement.
Apple and Pear Australia Ltd (APAL), which represents and provides services to Australia’s commercial apple and pear growers, and Adama Australia celebrated the signing of the two-year deal in late July.
“Our product offering to apple and pear producers exemplifies our ‘Simply. Grow. Together.’ philosophy,” Adama Australia marketing general manager, Adam Phelan, said.
“Whether it be in the development of innovative crop protection solutions, or in our offering of digital technologies such as our automated pest management system, Trapview, our focus is to create simplicity for producers and to work together with our partners to help maximise returns.
“With Adama’s innovative new crop protection product, Cormoran®, to be launched in August, and our game-changing growth regulator, Brevis®, coming down the line, it’s an exciting time for Adama and our work with apple and pear producers,” Mr Phelan said.
“APAL is happy to welcome Adama as one of our corporate sponsors who provide us with financial support, which helps us to deliver services to growers,” says APAL CEO John Dollisson.
“Adama has a range of crop protection products for apple and pear growers and more recently has been investing in research and development to develop new products. APAL welcomes investment into, and research for, our industry and looks forward to working with ADAMA to improve overall industry productivity.”
