US Cytozyme launches two new products in China

On June 30, Cytozyme held a product launch ceremony in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, for two new products: SOIL100 and CAL3. At the present, growing vegetables in China is difficult because of soil problems showing evidence of micronutrient deficiencies, salt deposition, and alkaline soils, resulting from continuous cropping and excessive use of fertilizers, which have become limiting factors in agricultural production. The new products will be very beneficial in improving soil problems and eliminating nutritional deficiencies.

Dr. Pawel Wiatrak, Director of Technical Support for Cytozyme, presented the product features of these two new products. SOIL100 offers nutritional support to promote growth of naturally occurring, beneficial microorganisms leading to improved soil health, reduced soil compaction, and improved soil structure while enabling the roots to flourish and allowing crops to better uptake and utilize nutrients. CAL3 is different from other calcium products on the market because of its method of chelation. Naturally chelated calcium allows for higher absorption and utilization. The calcium is more easily absorbed by the fruit, strengthening its cellular walls and membranes leading to improved post-harvest quality of fruit.
