Kenso Corp appoints Rob Armstrong as GM of regional markets

MalaysiaKuala Lumpur based Kenso Corporation has appointed Mr. Rob Armstrong to the new role of General Manager; Regions with responsibility for the agchem business units in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Myanmar and various export markets under the export department.
Mr. Armstrong has over 30 years’ experience in the agrochemical industry including the last 15 years establishing and overseeing the growth of Kenso’s operations in Australia and more recently New Zealand.
“We have strong businesses and brand presence across South East Asia but given our great product portfolio we also have a lot of opportunity for growth” says Mr. Armstrong. “With strong infrastructure in place such as our ISO 9001; 2008 facility in Port Klang Malaysia, our formulation facility in Zhenjiang China and a very experienced team of sales and technical people across the regions we are an attractive proposition for dealers, technology partners and formulation service customers alike “.
Kenso has been operating for over 40 years and during that time has expanded beyond agrochemical formulation to plantations, food production, milling and organic fertilizers. “I see great opportunities for the organic fertilizer operation to expand into new markets for us as this segment continues to grow and we are expanding our capacity currently”. Says Mr. Armstrong, “but our core business remains the formulation and supply of high quality agrochemicals under the Kenso brand or through our customized formulation services to supply partners in various parts of the world”.
